Last week, both Prep Hoops Wisconsin and Wisconsin Sports Network (WSN) released updates to their state basketball player rankings. Among the players noted in the rankings were seven members of the 2026 Red Wisconsin 26ers team.

Wisconsin 26ers Rankings Roundup

Leading the way was one of Wisconsin's top prospects, Logan Becker. Ranked 25th by WSN and number 38 by Prep Hoops Wisconsin (including recognition as a Rankings Riser), Becker showcased his versatility and scoring prowess this past high school season with the WIAA Division 4 State semi-finalist Aquinas Blugolds. Becker averaged an impressive 15.8 points per game, including 59 three-pointers.

Alex Berget, a skilled scorer from the Holmen Vikings, led his team with 12.4 points per game. He demonstrated deadly accuracy from beyond the arc, making sixty 3-pointers at a 45.8% shooting percentage. Berget was listed as an Other Top Sophomore by WSN, and he also was also recognized as a Rankings Riser and Watch List member by Prep Hoops Wisconsin.

Ian Kowal, from the Onalaska Hilltoppers, was ranked number 44 by WSN and was a Watch List selection by Prep Hoops Wisconsin. He contributed strong 3-point shooting with a percentage of 39.8% and an average of 7.1 points per game. Kowal's impact for the Hilltoppers extended beyond scoring, with solid assist, turnover, and steal statistics.

Landon Michlig, of the WIAA Division 2 State semi-finalist West Salem Panthers, displayed a well-rounded game over the course of the high school season. Landon was listed as an Other Top Sophomore by WSN, as well as a Watch List member and Rankings Riser by Prep Hoops Wisconsin. Michlig scored 6.6 PPG, shot 35.8% from 3-point range, and was West Salem’s second leading rebounder with 4.7 RPG.

Another Onalaska Hilltopper, Tristan Molling, returned to action after overcoming an injury setback and missing the 2023 AAU season. As a WSN Other Top Sophomore, Molling appeared in eleven games for Onalaska and promises to be a valuable asset for the 26ers this AAU season.

Standout forward from the Ellsworth Panthers George Rohl, listed as an Other Top Sophomore by WSN, was a Prep Hoops Wisconsin Rankings Riser and member of the Watch List. Rohl was the second leading scorer for Ellsworth with 13.1 PPG. He added 5.6 RPG and a solid 1.8 assists per game, demonstrating strong passing skills at 6’6”.

In addition to the Class of 2026 talents, Calvin Bahr from the Aquinas Blugolds’ 2027 class was listed as an Other Top Freshman by WSN. Appearing in eighteen games for Aquinas, Bahr's early contributions for that team demonstrate his potential to make an immediate impact at the AAU level.
