Back to Back Championships for Wisconsin 26ers 2028

Another great weekend for the Wisconsin 26ers 2028 team — Coach Craig Kowal

Wisconsin 26ers 2028 faced competitive matchups again last weekend at Evolution Basketball's Future's Uprising tournament, coming away with a second consecutive championship. Two of the team's five wins came over Team 1848, a team featuring players primarily from the Green Bay area. The boys narrowly defeated the DK Lakers in the last of three games Saturday evening.

The highlight of the weekend was defeating The Valley (Kimberly/Appleton North players), both in the opening game and again in the championship. In the first meeting, the 26ers welcomed back Gabe Whited, who played well both offensively and on the boards. In the championship game, The Valley shot a high percentage from beyond the arc and led by six at the half. In the second half, the tables turned as the team continually attacked their zone with penetration and high post touches, leading to easy baskets. The deficit was quickly erased and the 26ers ended up cruising to a double digit victory and a second straight undefeated weekend.

After each game the opposing coach and officials selected a game MVP for the winning team. Individual game MVP honors went to the following:

Wisconsin 26ers (45) vs The Valley (42)

Wisconsin 26ers (50) vs Team 1848 (45)
